Lead Architect Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Architect to oversee our architectural design projects. This role involves coordinating concept design teams, refining design options, and collaborating with specializations across various projects.

  • Concept Design Coordination: Lead the development of high-complexity designs by working closely with concept design teams.
  • Design Refinement: Oversee the selection and refinement of design options into schematic and final designs.
  • Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with Structural, Mechanical, Water & Environment specializations to coordinate design requirements.
  • Design Value Engineering: Work closely with stakeholders for design value engineering on high-complexity projects as needed.
  • Project Management Support: Review and validate design deliverables with clients and authorities, capturing feedback and obtaining approvals as needed.
  • Quantity Surveying: Develop tender documents, including specifications, Bills of Quantities, and Conditions of Contract, and provide support during the tender process as needed.
  • Design Deliverable Reviews: Conduct detailed reviews and checks, issuing checking reports as needed.
  • Project Budgeting: Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and project schedules as needed.
  • Contractual Risks: Identify and manage contractual risks as needed.
  • Supplier Management: Oversee external suppliers and subcontracts to ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Progress Reporting: Assist Project Managers in developing periodic progress reports as needed.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control policies and procedures on design deliverables and conduct peer reviews on team members' work.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
  • Master's Degree in Architecture or a related field (preferred)
  • 10+ years of industry experience in architectural design functions
  • Strong track record in developing architectural designs for large and complex projects
  • Deep understanding of international engineering standards and codes
  • Exposure to global best practices and trends in architectural design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and attention to detail

Required software skills include Revit Architecture, BIM 360, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
