Web Development Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Web Development Department Head to lead our web development division, overseeing a team of frontend and backend developers.
About the Role:
This leadership position involves taking ownership of end-to-end website and web app projects from kickoff to deployment. The successful candidate will translate briefs, UI/UX designs, and business goals into robust web solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Take charge of website and web app projects, ensuring timely delivery and deployment.
- Develop technical scope, timelines, and roadmaps for client requirements.
- Team Supervision:
- Lead and mentor a team of 3–6 web developers.
- Conduct code reviews, set coding standards, and foster a strong tech culture.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure team efficiency.
- Client Liaison:
- Serve as the technical lead and client-facing SPOC for web-related projects.
- Communicate with clients on project updates, documentation, and post-delivery support.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with designers to ensure design fidelity and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with SEO, performance marketing, and branding teams to deliver SEO-ready, fast-loading websites.
- Code Quality & Infrastructure:
- Establish scalable architecture, version control, staging environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain responsive, optimized, and accessible code.
