Job Overview

The Club Director oversees the overall operations and management of the club, ensuring seamless execution of daily activities and long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Club Operations & Planning:
    • Coordinate events, workshops, speaker sessions, and client visits to foster engagement and growth.
    • Develop an annual activity calendar and track progress, aligning with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as a liaison between the club, property owners, external partners, vendors, and members, facilitating collaboration and resolving issues.
    • Minutes of meeting, follow-ups on agreed points, and task execution ensure effective communication.
  • Team Management:
    • Delegate responsibilities, monitor performance, and evaluate team members' skills and areas for improvement.
    • Ensure staff adhere to uniform policies while on duty.
    • Manage disciplinary actions involving club-level employees in accordance with established procedures.
  • Budget & Resource Management:
    • Assist in managing club resources, sponsorships, and budget allocation to optimize financial performance.
    • Coordinate with management for approvals or procurements to streamline processes.
  • Membership Engagement:
    • Create a welcoming environment by delivering exceptional customer service, fostering member loyalty and retention.
    • Address concerns, complaints, or suggestions promptly and professionally, reflecting positively on the club's image.
    • Foster attentiveness and responsiveness among staff to reflect club values and high standards.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure the club operates in compliance with health regulations, maintaining sanitation standards and adhering to safety protocols.
    • Implement and monitor safety procedures across all areas, prioritizing staff and member well-being.
    • Oversee maintenance needs and coordinate staff training in CPR/First Aid to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Program & Event Planning:
    • Strategically plan, coordinate, and oversee fitness programs, wellness challenges, workshops, and social events to engage members and promote a positive atmosphere.
    • Collaborate with instructors and professionals to design innovative offerings that cater to diverse interests and skill levels.
    • Monitor attendance and feedback to refine programming and ensure it meets the needs of the membership.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate documentation of club activities for audit, continuity, and institutional reporting purposes.
    • Provide regular updates to key stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress and achievements.
