Our client seeks an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join their team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation, with at least 5-8 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Preparing and submitting GST returns on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Responding to notices from the tax authorities, ensuring compliance with relevant provisions.
  • Preparing appeal documents and attending hearings before tax authorities.
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws, including previous regimes such as Central Excise, Service Tax, and VAT.
  • Collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in SAP is highly desirable.
