Job Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Cloud Computing Engineer. This role involves designing, developing and implementing software integrations based on user feedback.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in configuration tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef) and Java web applications.
  • This position requires experience in network, server and application-status monitoring.
  • A strong command over Automation tools like Jenkins and Selenium is also essential.
  • Familiarity with Ruby, Python, Git, GitHub and SQL (Structured Query Language) is a must.
  • Our ideal candidate will have a problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy upgrades and fixes using cloud computing skills on AWS.
  • Design, develop and implement software integrations based on user feedback.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
  • Implement automation tools and frameworks for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze code and communicate detailed reviews to ensure a marked improvement in applications and timely project completion.
  • Collaborate to improve engineering tools, systems, data security and computing architecture.
  • Conduct systems tests for security, performance and availability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Expertise in configuration tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef) and Java web applications.
  • Experience in network, server and application-status monitoring.
  • Strong command over Automation tools like Jenkins and Selenium.
  • Knowledge of Ruby, Python, Git, GitHub and SQL (Structured Query Language).
