Web Services Tester

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Web Services Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for participating in all phases of web services system testing, creating test scenarios and cases, and developing and maintaining web service test scripts.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all phases of web services system testing.
  • Create Test Scenarios and Test Cases, Developing and Maintaining webservice test scripts
  • Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, SIT and Regression Testing
  • Participate in the technical design process with the Webservice Architects and Developers on projects.
  • Develop, implement and maintain quality and test procedures, processes and best practices for QA.
  • Develop and maintain test plan, test cases with associated test data based on functional requirements.
  • Identify test automation opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of test services.
  • Report and document defects found during test cycles. Participate in defect prioritization sessions.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have experience with testing RESTful data services and APIs. You should also have a good understanding of Java and .NET Web applications. Familiarity with agile methodology is a plus. Additionally, you must be able to send a request/get a response for different protocols/technologies. Experience with Ready API testing and knowledge of SOA test automation framework, process, strategy are desirable.

You should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. If you have experience working with tools like SOAP UI, Postman, TFS, Jira etc., it's a big plus.
