System Operations Expert

The role of a System Operations Expert involves ensuring the availability, performance, and security of backend services.

To be successful in this position, you should have a strong understanding of system administration, networking, and cloud computing principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system uptime and performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and support reliable, scalable, and resilient systems on cloud platforms.
  • Contribute to platform engineering projects to create automated solutions for deployment, scaling, and operations.
  • Assist in disaster recovery planning and participate in DR testing under supervision.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in system administration, DevOps, or a related field.
  3. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, including AWS.
  4. Basic understanding of monitoring and observability tools.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
