Software Quality Professional Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance and be proficient in the entire software development life cycle, including regression, functional, systems, and user acceptance testing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures to support various development methodologies. They will also design, build, and execute automated tests, identify regression testing needs, and create and maintain an automated regression suite.

Additionally, the candidate should work closely with stakeholders to analyze end-to-end scenarios, gather requirements, and design test cases that need to be automated. They should also possess detailed and effective written communication skills to document features tested and bugs found.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures
  • Design, build, and execute automated tests
  • Identify regression testing needs and create and maintain an automated regression suite
  • Work closely with stakeholders to analyze end-to-end scenarios and gather requirements
  • Document features tested and bugs found

Preferred Requirements:

  • Automation skills are a must
  • Hands-on experience in testing cloud applications is preferred
  • Familiarity with JIRA, GIT, SQL, and databases is beneficial
  • Knowledge of Java or Python, Selenium, Appium, etc., and BDD or Cucumber frameworks is highly desired
