APIGEE Platform Deployment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled APIGEE Platform Deployment Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work with cutting-edge technology and drive the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage APIGEE Hybrid runtime environments on Kubernetes clusters.
  • Install, upgrade, patch, and maintain APIGEE Hybrid and APIGEE X platforms.
  • Manage APIGEE runtime components within Kubernetes environments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Terraform and Helm charts.
  • Develop automation scripts to streamline tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with API teams to support proxy deployments and troubleshoot issues.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for platform deployments and API lifecycle management.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong experience with APIGEE Hybrid platform deployment and runtime management.
  • Familiarity with APIGEE X concepts and principles.
  • Experience with API proxy development, debugging, and policy implementation.
  • Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
  • Proficient in deploying applications using Helm charts and understanding Kubernetes networking and service mesh.
  • Extensive experience with Terraform for cloud and Kubernetes resource provisioning.
  • Experience using the Terraform Helm provider to deploy applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong skills in Bash/Shell scripting and Python for automation and operational tasks.
  • Experience developing automation pipelines and integrating with CI/CD tools.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native infrastructure automation and multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and their integration with APIGEE platforms.
