Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog Design Engineer to join our team at Infinity HR Consulting Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing sophisticated Power Management IC products, including Point of loads and PMICs, for a wide range of server, notebook, PC, and industrial applications.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Analog IC design, with experience in designing and developing Power Management Products, including switching converters, Buck, Boost, and Buck-Boost. They will also have expertise in IC architecture, including top-down budgeting, control loop design, efficiency estimation, and optimization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing Power Management Products with emphasis on switching converters
  • IC architecture, including top-down budgeting, control loop design, efficiency estimation, and optimization
  • Responsible for Analog IC design for blocks like OpAmps, Comparators, Oscillators, Bandgap References, LDOs, and layout supervision through all stages of IC development
  • Work with system team for converter modelling, test-plan preparation
  • Work with layout engineers on IC floorplan and integration of analog, ESD, and digital
  • Conduct IC design reviews, layout reviews, and provide regular design updates through documentation and presentations
  • Understand and implement design and layout methodologies which will meet company and industry standards for product reliability and yield
  • Post-silicon debug and support system characterization
  • Assist test, operations, and application teams during productization

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of Power converter architectures - Buck, Boost, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of Analog design - OpAmp, Comparators, Bandgap References, LDOs, etc.
  • Understanding of process technologies and device behavior which are important for high voltage, high power operation and reliability issues
  • 5+ years of experience in Analog IC design
