Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CPU Verification Engineer to develop scalable testbenches and drive complex test scenarios for high-performance, low-power CPU cores.

  • This role involves developing C-based software tests, SystemVerilog/Verilog testbenches, and collaborating with project management on planning tasks, schedules, and reporting progress.
  • Responsibilities also include working with engineers from other teams, including architecture, design, implementation, modeling, performance analysis, silicon validation, FPGA, and board development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven understanding of digital hardware verification languages Verilog/Systemverilog HDL and experience in SoC verification using Embedded Low-level programming, including C/C++ tests and assembly language.
  • A strong background in one or more of various verification methodologies – UVM/OVM, formal, power aware verification, emulation – is essential.
  • Candidates should also have exposure to all stages of verification: requirements collection, creation of verification methodology plans, test plans, testbench implementation, test case development, documentation, and support.
  • In addition, experience with ARM-based designs and/or ARM System Architectures, SoC Boot flow, Cache coherency, Porting peripheral driver software for SoC tests, Clock Domain Crossing verification, GLS, DFT/DFD, UPF Power Aware verification, and Automation experience with shell programming/scripting (e.g., Tcl, Perl, Python) is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications include a B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, as well as 4+ years of relevant experience in CPU or SoC-level functional verification.
