Plant Quality Head - LV Electrical Panels

This is a high-level leadership position responsible for overseeing quality assurance and control processes at our manufacturing facility.

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians in achieving quality objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
  • Process Oversight: Monitor and control quality processes across all stages of production, from raw material inspection to final product testing.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality professionals to achieve quality objectives.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL, BIS) and customer-specific requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for process optimization, defect reduction, and quality improvement using tools like Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the LV electrical panel or similar electrical manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of LV electrical panel design, manufacturing processes, and testing standards (e.g., IEC 61439, UL 508A).

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
