Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software tools to analyze data, build metric calculators, and automated tools to help business make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering and Product teams to support functional use-cases and take data-driven decisions to build and enhance the platform.
  • Work with multiple data providers to identify authorized sources of data and create logical data models to provide an equivalent view of data.

Requirements:

  • Strong software engineering experience with in-depth understanding of Python, Scala, Java, or equivalent.
  • Experience in data processing and software engineering with a focus on building high-quality, scalable data-oriented products.
  • Experience with distributed data technologies such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, EMR, for building efficient, large-scale data pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn technologies and apply.
  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building stream-processing applications with Spark streaming, Apache-Flink, Kafka, or equivalent.
  • Programming experience in at least one compiled language - Java, Python.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and AWS.
  • Familiarity with financial markets, financial assets, and liquidity management is a plus.
