Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive cybersecurity expert to design, implement, and maintain robust security measures to protect our systems, networks, and data. The ideal candidate will be experienced in threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security best practices. You will work closely with IT, DevOps, and Compliance teams to ensure comprehensive cybersecurity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive security strategies to protect IT infrastructure, applications, and data.
- Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, anomalies, and threats, identifying potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans, leading response to security incidents and minimizing impact on the business.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies to minimize security risks and optimize overall security posture.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and other security tools to maintain a secure environment.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into DevSecOps practices, ensuring seamless integration of security throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and HIPAA, by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and implementing necessary controls.
- Maintain and update security documentation, runbooks, and technical reports to ensure accurate and timely information is available for decision-makers.
- Educate employees and developers on cybersecurity awareness and secure coding practices, promoting a culture of security within the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong understanding of network, application, and cloud security concepts, including threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners, as well as proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
- Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Tenable, Qualys, Wireshark, and other industry-leading security solutions.
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance, including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
