Job Title: Machine Vision Specialist

Sensor systems are transforming industries by enabling real-time monitoring, quality control, and process optimization. As a Machine Vision Specialist, you will design and implement smart AI + sensor systems that effectively tackle complex problems in factory environments.

You will be working on the following key aspects:

  • Prototyping with advanced sensors and cameras to detect defects, measure products, and track production lines
  • Supporting hardware selection and integration with data acquisition tools and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Designing robust mechanical setups for sensors and cameras to withstand harsh industrial conditions
  • Troubleshooting and iterating quickly to ensure system reliability and performance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop practical solutions for machine vision and sensor-based applications
  • Analyze and interpret data from sensor systems to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensor systems into existing processes
  • Conduct pilot deployments and iterate on designs to achieve optimal results

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in sensors, automation, or machine vision
  • Familiarity with laser triangulation, ultrasonic non-destructive testing (NDT), or machine vision systems
  • Ability to design and implement mechanical setups for sensors and cameras
  • Proficiency in Python, OpenCV, and basic DAQ concepts
  • Willingness to work in high-temperature and industrial environments
  • Flexibility to travel for deployments
