Lead AI Data Specialist

A great opportunity has arisen for a skilled Lead AI Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the data platform, you will play a vital role in shaping technology and driving innovation.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the design, development, and implementation of high-performance applications and microservices for digital investment products. This involves collaborating closely with product management, UX/UI designers, and other developers to deliver software that meets client requirements.

To succeed in this role, you must have expertise in AI & Python development, specifically with Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Experience with large language models (LLMs), GenAI tools like Langchain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, and open-source Vector DBs is also essential. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of prompt engineering principles and techniques, as well as knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance applications and microservices for digital investment products.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in AI & Python development.
  • Expertise in Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with large language models (LLMs) and GenAI tools.
  • Strong knowledge of prompt engineering principles and techniques.
  • Relational databases such as MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
  • Data analytics and visualisation tools such as Snowflake, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
