Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering with minimum 5–10 years of experience in aerospace systems engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of nacelle systems including inlets, fan cowls, thrust reversers, and exhausts.
  • In-depth understanding of aviation regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA) and certification processes.
  • Proficiency with CATIA, ANSYS, and MATLAB/Simulink software and utilization of CAD modeling tools.

Responsibilities:

Requirements and Architecture: Define, decompose, and manage system-level requirements for nacelles.

Design and Development:

  • Serve as the responsible engineer for nacelle systems overseeing conceptual and detailed design.
  • Manage integration of nacelle systems with engine and aircraft coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensure configuration management is maintained throughout product lifecycle.
  • Develop and manage testing and validation plans for nacelle components and systems.
  • Interpret and analyze test data to verify system performance and compliance.
  • Conduct design trade-off studies to optimize system performance, reliability, and cost.
