We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team at Eli Lilly, a global pharmaceutical company. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines that support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-performance and scalable data pipelines using AWS Lambda, Glue, S3, Redshift, Athena, Eventbridge, IAM Roles, Policies, PySpark, SQL, and Tableau
  • Design and implement data profiling and quality methodologies to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Ensure successful transition of applications to service management team through planning and knowledge transfer
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with focus on core tools and technologies like AWS, Lambda, Glue, S3, Redshift, Athena, Eventbridge, IAM Roles, Policies, PySpark, SQL, and Tableau
  • Expertise in Agile Development and code deployment using GitHub, CI-CD pipelines
  • Experience working in regulated environments and with internal systems quality policies and procedures
