Job Title: Laboratory Instructor

We are seeking a qualified Laboratory Instructor to join our team.

  • This is a full-time position that will involve conducting and supervising laboratory sessions for undergraduate students in allied and healthcare programs.
  • The successful candidate will assist in preparation, demonstration, and evaluation of practical skills aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Maintenance of laboratory equipment, inventory, and ensuring timely calibration and servicing are also key responsibilities of this role.
  • Ensuring safety protocols, infection control measures, and proper waste disposal practices will be the responsibility of the Laboratory Instructor.
  • The candidate will collaborate with academic faculty to align laboratory content with theoretical components of the course.
  • Providing technical support to students during skill development and internal assessments is also an important aspect of this role.
  • The Laboratory Instructor will participate in curriculum review and development of new laboratory manuals.
  • Maintaining documentation for laboratory sessions, stock registers, and compliance audits will be required.
  • The candidate will facilitate internal and external practical examinations and simulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (minimum) in a relevant Allied and Healthcare field from a recognized university.
  • Master's Degree or additional certifications is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum two years of relevant experience in a laboratory/clinical setting or academic institution.
  • Prior experience in academic instruction is an added advantage.
