Job Title: Data Engineering and Platform Specialist

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable data platforms to support business objectives. This role requires expertise in data engineering principles, platform automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or lakes.
  • Automate and manage underlying infrastructure for data platforms, applying SRE and DevOps best practices for performance, reliability, and observability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
  • Optimize and tune existing data pipelines and infrastructure for performance, cost, and scalability.
  • Implement data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or similar role.
  • Proven experience in DevOps, SRE, or System Engineering, with hands-on expertise in infrastructure as code and monitoring/observability tools.
  • Expertise in SQL programming and database management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and technologies.
