Job Summary:
The Business Support team plays a vital role in the end-to-end servicing of accounts. We provide documentation and billing support to our brokers, enabling them to service accounts efficiently. Placing and Billing involves creating documents before and after placing business, generating invoices on behalf of the broker, and providing the final policy document.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities
- Deliver results according to defined KPIs while maintaining set SLA Accuracy/quality, TAT standards. Manage workload/volumes and delivery expectations as per business requirements.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the business process.
- Update work trackers and time tracking tools accurately and in real-time.
- Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by Team Leaders.
- Ensure adherence to compliance and operate within internal and external guidelines. Follow all statutory and company procedures while processing work to protect clients, colleagues, and business interests.
Operations Management/Operational Effectiveness
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas.
- Support key initiatives that drive change and improvement.
- Inform Team Managers of any feedback or issues found in the process instantly.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain ongoing relationships with stakeholders (internal/external).
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree required. Preferred Commerce or Insurance background.
Functional Competencies:
- Analytical: Analytical skills involve researching, collecting, interpreting, analyzing, and problem-solving information (includes numerical and graphical).
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is essential for achieving thoroughness, accuracy, and completeness when accomplishing tasks.
- Communications Skills: Effective communication skills enable comprehension, articulation, and response to information through verbal and written mediums.
- MS Office: Familiarity with MS Office applications.
