System Consulting Expert

  • Perform expert consulting on sourcing processes worldwide in SAP Ariba.
  • Oversee project management of global SAP-based processes, implementing S/4 HANA and SAP Ariba.
  • Identify emerging IT trends to drive business digitization forward.
  • Analyze IT-driven business cases and create project studies.
  • Design interfaces for integrating applications into business processes.
  • Support the creation of a global IT strategy.
  • Lead or support the adoption and rollout of SAP Ariba Guided Sourcing to streamline sourcing events and improve user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Guided Sourcing with downstream processes such as contract management and procurement.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in SAP Ariba is essential.
  • A good understanding of GTS is beneficial.
  • Experience in S/4 HANA is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2-3 Greenfield Implementations must have been successfully completed.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders (Director level & above) is required.
  • Professional experience in an international industrial company with comparable responsibilities is necessary.
  • A successful completion of a degree in business informatics or business engineering is expected.
  • Project management expertise and a clear understanding of business processes are essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP MM and ideal knowledge of ABAP are required.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, as well as assertive and solution-oriented behavior, are expected.
  • Exposure to working in a global team is necessary.
  • Good communication skills are essential.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Guided Sourcing, including event creation, template customization, and supplier collaboration, is highly desirable.
