We are seeking a highly skilled Equity Researcher to join our team.

As a key member, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth equity analysis, building and maintaining complex financial models, and producing high-quality reports to support investment decisions.

About the Role

  • You will conduct fundamental analysis using company financials, industry trends, sectoral analysis, and valuation methods to identify potential investment opportunities.
  • You will develop initiation and earnings update reports, sector briefs, and investment recommendations based on your research findings.
  • You will analyze and monitor fund performance, net asset value movements, portfolio composition, and manager strategy to provide actionable insights.
  • You will engage with fund managers to gather information and maintain regular updates.
  • You will build and maintain rigorous financial models (discounted cash flow, projections), test assumptions, and perform scenario analyses to evaluate potential outcomes.
  • You will execute financial due diligence for new funds or investment proposals, providing detailed assessments of their merits.
  • You will prepare investor-ready presentations, research dashboards, and detailed write-ups to communicate your findings effectively.
  • You will deliver market commentary and fund performance summaries to stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • CFA, CA, MBA in Finance, or NISM certification for research professionals.
  • 3–8 years of experience in equity research/fund analysis, preferably with exposure to PMS, AIFs, or mutual funds.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuations, and use of databases such as Probe42, MCA, NSE/BSE/SEBI website.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams.
