As a Data Lake Architect, you will be responsible for designing and building highly-available and secure Data Lake infrastructure platforms, primarily based on AWS infrastructure.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and design scalable data models to support enterprise level reporting and analytics.
  • Power various reporting and analytical tools including Power BI, MicroStrategy, and Information Builders.
  • Establish and implement enterprise scale data governance models, including data versioning and defining the enterprise data model.
  • Collaborate with technical and business team members to analyze and refine requirements, consumption query patterns, and choose the right technology fit.
  • Develop source-to-target data mappings and document them accordingly.
  • Utilize strong analytical, consultative, and communication skills to make informed decisions and drive project success.
  • Maintain a high level of expertise in NoSQL, RDBMS, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse technologies.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable data architectures.
  • Experience with cloud-based services, specifically AWS.
  • Strong understanding of data governance models and data management principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
