Streamlining Data Migration
A career as a data migration specialist offers an exciting opportunity to leverage technical skills in conjunction with AI coding assistants to create high-quality methods of moving clients from legacy platforms to a modern platform.
This role involves migrating older generation data models to a Snowflake-style architecture at scale, managing complex data migrations and developing ETL/ELT processes using dbt, AWS, and Redshift.
- Key Responsibilities:
- • Design, manage, and optimize data migrations
- • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using dbt, AWS, and Redshift
- • Build deep understanding of recruitment CRMs (people, projects, companies)
- • Own the end-to-end process, including injection of new data into production environments
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants should possess intelligent problem-solving skills, a dislike for meetings, and a preference for focus time. Customer migration experience is essential, particularly transforming data to onboard customers into software solutions.
