Procurement Specialist Opportunity

Job Brief:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized procurement expert to oversee purchases, develop new contracts, and ensure effective inventory management.

The successful candidate will play a key role in procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with established procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Procurement of raw materials required for production and plant supplies.
  • Maintenance of a secure and organized store room, including separate areas for storing spare parts and raw materials.
  • Issue of materials from the store against authorized indents.
  • Procurement of materials not available in the store, subject to indent approval.
  • Collection of quotations from vendors and preparation of comparative statements for approval.
  • Clearance of purchase indents within two days of request date.
  • Coordination with senior officer QCP to ensure optimum levels of raw materials for daily production schedules.
  • Visual checking of inward raw materials and delivery challans.
  • Verification of transactions entered into Tally/ERP System within two days of receipt.
  • Management of cash transactions, including tallying of cash registers.
  • Deposition of sales collection cheques onto the bank, keeping accurate records and reporting.
  • Store room custodian, issuing/procurings materials indented which are authorised by Business Manager.
  • Ensure stock level of PPE materials for issue to plant/site personnel.
  • Maintenance of personal files of company staff at the plant.
  • Coordination of ESIC matters in case of emergency.
  • Ensure Statutory approvals like pollution Factory, panchayath, etc.
  • Perform any other job assigned by Manager – Business.
