Principal Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled technical consultant to lead the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of Oracle HCM Cloud systems.

This individual will be responsible for delivering technical components related to integration with other systems, data conversion, report development, and customizations. A strong understanding of at least two HCM modules is required, including Core HR, as well as experience with integration tools and third-party applications.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in migration existing page personalizations to Redwood using VBS

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will also possess business acumen, being able to prepare and submit technical documentation, participate in requirement collection discussions with stakeholders, manage integration between HCM Cloud and external applications or systems within the organization, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, provide training and support to users, collaborate with the IT team to ensure data security, backup, and recovery plans are in place and effective, and work closely with the Oracle Support on escalated issues.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Developing HCM Extracts for reporting and analysis
  2. Developing Reports using BI Publisher
  3. Performing data conversion using HDL
  4. Developing fast formulas
  5. Familiarity with Redwood framework and Journey configuration
  6. Page personalizations and customizations using VBS
  7. Developing integrations using REST APIs
