Research Associate - Cyber

This role offers an opportunity to conduct in-depth research on cybersecurity trends, analyze data patterns, and develop reports.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with industry experts and policymakers. Experience in the power or energy sector is a plus, but not required. A degree in engineering, computer science, energy studies, or related fields is preferred.

You will work closely with our technical teams to evaluate cybersecurity tools and protocols, assess emerging technologies like smart grids, IoT in energy, and AI-driven threat detection. Your role will involve liaising with policymakers, energy utilities, tech vendors, and international think tanks, as well as participating in roundtables, workshops, and conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough studies on cyber threats affecting power grids, smart meters, and energy storage systems.
  • Analyze global and national trends in cyber resilience for energy infrastructure.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of cybersecurity frameworks and technologies in the power sector.
