The Role

We seek a skilled and self-driven Automation Engineer to lead our automated testing initiatives and elevate software quality standards. This role demands a sharp analytical mindset, a proactive approach, and the ability to work seamlessly across frontend and backend systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain test suites using TestNG or JUnit frameworks.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and backend platforms.
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects and document findings clearly.
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Enhance test coverage, traceability, and defect visibility.
  • Support data validation to ensure consistent data quality across systems.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QA roles with a strong focus on automation.
  • Proficiency in scripting with Java, Python, or similar languages.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing and working with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
