Aviation Engineering Lead

The aviation engineering team is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our airfield design and maintenance projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil engineering projects while guiding junior team members through planning, work management, and technical project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead teams on airfield civil engineering projects.
  • Deliver projects by guiding junior team members through planning, work management, and technical project delivery.
  • Prepare technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications for airfield engineering projects.
  • Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to quality management requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members, industry associates, and clients on design coordination and communication.
  • Identify and manage design risks, issues, and request for information (RFIs).
  • Support project managers with progress monitoring and developing project controls.
  • Maintain technical quality, address project briefs, and meet client deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in civil infrastructure design at airports.
  • Civil engineering expertise on large, complex airport projects from concept to detailed design and construction support.
  • Experience managing engineering professionals on aviation projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for design information and team interactions.
  • Self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
  • International airfield design standards knowledge, such as ICAO and FAA.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant airfield engineering software packages.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
