Citrix Administrator

As a highly skilled Citrix Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge Citrix technologies. You will be responsible for crafting end-to-end virtual desktop solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.

  • We are looking for an experienced professional to integrate Citrix products, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud with Azure virtual desktop services, creating a comprehensive and cohesive virtual desktop solution.
  • You will configure and manage Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage to create and maintain robust Azure virtual desktop environments.
  • Your responsibilities will include proper image management, user profile management, and application delivery mechanisms.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement identity and access management strategies, including integration with Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls for virtual desktop environments.
  • You will design and configure network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure, including network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers, to ensure secure and efficient data transfer.
  • Ongoing optimization of virtual desktop environments for performance, scalability, and user experience is crucial.
  • Implementing security measures, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements, is essential to protect virtual desktop environments and ensure adherence to industry regulations and organizational policies.
  • Developing high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss is vital.
  • Establishing monitoring tools and processes to proactively monitor the virtual desktop infrastructure.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting performance issues, system errors, and network connectivity problems to maintain a stable and reliable environment.
  • Creating detailed documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Multiple years of experience as a Citrix Architect or similar role designing and implementing virtual desktop solutions using Citrix technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure virtual desktop services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, and virtual networks.
  • Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud.
  • Experience in network design, including connectivity options, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
  • Familiarity with identity and access management concepts, including Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls.
  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in designing high availability and disaster recovery solutions for virtual desktop environments.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
