About the Role

The Head of Resilience will work closely with the Value Streams to provide Site Reliability Engineering leadership, vision, and direction as part of a global Production Integrity and SRE team.

This role will be accountable for developing ways of working, establishing SLOs and associated monitoring, improving monitoring and alerting, increasing automation, ensuring toolset adoption and coverage, reducing toil, improving resilience, and developing resource capability and SRE mindset.

What We're Looking For

1. Prior experience in Production Support, SRE, Change, Release, Problem, Service Management

2. Sound knowledge on REST APIs using JSON, Java Web Services on SOAP, OAuth Integrations

3. Sound knowledge on Docker, Kubernetes

4. Sound Cloud Knowledge (preferably on AWS, in services like EKS, Lambdas, API Gateway, Load Balancers, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, EC2, RDS)

5. Prior experience of working as a DevOps or SRE Engineer

6. Hands on experience on Application performance management, and monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, DataDog, CloudWatch, X-ray, ZipKin, etc. (Any experience in reporting, visualisation tools e.g. QlikSense, Dashboards in AppDynamics, Splunk will be an added advantage.)

7. Sound knowledge Jenkins, Groovy for CI/CD

8. Sound knowledge Python, Shell Scripting for Automation

9. Hands on experience on Version Control systems like GitHub, and Tagging, Releases setup

10. Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, articulation, and interpersonal skills

11. Excellent Problem-Solving, triaging skills, and strongly positive attitude to improve operational ways of working

12. Ability to influence stakeholders convincingly with well-considered & rationalised logic

13. Experience in using JIRA & Confluence or equivalent portals.

14. Good Knowledge & working experience in Agile, Scrum / Kanban methodologies

Requirements
