We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software quality assurance principles and experience in manual testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The Quality Assurance Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies.
  • The specialist will design and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and functional requirements.
  • Experience with Selenium (Java) and Cucumber BDD framework is highly desirable.
  • The specialist will perform database testing and write complex SQL queries to validate backend data integrity.
  • Maintenance and tracking of issues in defect management tools, ensuring timely resolution is also required.
  • The specialist will participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure test coverage and quality standards.
  • Use of GitHub for source control and continuous integration practices is expected.
  • Ensure traceability of tests to requirements using tools like PractiTest or equivalent test management platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance is required.
  • Strong experience in manual testing and ability to think from the end-user perspective is necessary.
  • At least 2+years of Experience in test automation using Selenium (Java) and Cucumber BDD framework is desired.
  • Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies is essential.
  • Experience with GitHub for version control is required.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience in database testing is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow) is also required.
  • Experience using PractiTest or similar test management tools is preferred.
