Chief Financial Officer Role

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for the accuracy and reliability of accounting and financial information in accordance with specified deadlines.
  • Maintaining compliance with statutory regulations, local requirements, and international standards concerning financial matters.
  • Monitoring all accounting and financial activities, encompassing accounts receivable, payable, general ledger, and monthly close processes.
  • Effective management of working capital and cash flow, customer credit, and collection strategies.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive financial policies, procedures, and controls aligning with partners' expectations.
  • Communicating fraud and compliance concerns to senior management and partners.
  • Oversight of internal and external compliance reporting and projections, ensuring adherence to set criteria.
  • Providing actionable business insights through data-driven analysis and defining meaningful metrics for informed decision-making.
  • Preparing consolidated management reports for senior leadership, including financial statements, key performance indicators, operational dashboards, and trend analysis.
  • Identifying potential risks and proactively addressing issues to prevent financial shortfalls.
  • Ensuring report quality and compliance with partner requirements.
  • Collaborative budget development and monitoring with senior management.
  • Leadership, coaching, and development of the finance team, fostering confidence and updates on regulatory changes.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior management in strategic development and optimization initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance or Management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial analysis techniques, IFRS principles, closing/reporting processes, and risk management methodologies.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Fluent English language proficiency.
  • Organizational skills, dynamic work ethic, autonomous approach, strategic vision, and strong financial acumen.
  • Leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and team-oriented mindset.
