Rahi Seeks a DevOps Engineer

The software team at Rahi focuses on creating, designing, deploying, and supporting software. Customer obsession, ownership, learning and curiosity, earning trust, and delivering results define the technologist in our software team.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is proficient with the orchestration of applications on-prem and public clouds. The ideal candidate will understand the software development cycle from end to end, standardize and automate the workflows, migrate applications into the hybrid cloud environment, and set practices and guidelines for efficiency, reliability, and high availability of scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy highly scalable fault-tolerant infrastructure solutions across a hybrid cloud environment.
  • Create and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Gitlab, Artifactory, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Engage proactively with end-users to ensure their services are deployed following security best practices.
  • Automation and configuration management of Linux instances in both on-premises and cloud platforms.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Hands-on DevOps experience in infrastructure engineering.
  • Scripting with programming languages like Python and expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Expertise with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Expertise in configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
  • Proficient with Docker, containerization and orchestration, and image management.
  • Hands-on experience with workflow and workload orchestration on Kubernetes.
  • In-depth knowledge of build/release systems, CI/CD systems, Jenkins.
  • Experience with pipelines, SCM like Git, modern web services architectures, scripting for automation and building utility tools.
  • Ability to monitor systems using Stackdriver, Cloud Watch, Prometheus, or similar tools.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (or bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience) in Computer Engineering or similar.
