Theatre Educator

Job Overview:

We seek a skilled educator to teach acting techniques, performance methods, and stage/screen practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction & Teaching:
• Deliver engaging lectures on voice modulation, body language, improvisation, character development, and performance analysis.
• Conduct practical workshops, rehearsals, and studio sessions for hands-on training in acting for stage and screen.
• Guide students through monologues, dialogues, scene work, and performance projects emphasizing classical and contemporary approaches.
• Incorporate techniques from various acting methodologies (e.g., Stanislavski, Meisner, Method Acting) to broaden skill sets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acting, Theatre Arts, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience in acting, directing, or playwriting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to engage students with diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
• Knowledge of acting theories, dramatic structures, and performance techniques.
