Enterprise Data Governance Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and governance of data assets across various business domains. Your expertise will ensure that data is structured, accessible, and trusted to support operational excellence and strategic decision-making.

This role involves overseeing the end-to-end data lifecycle management, from acquisition and modeling to cataloging and governance. You will design and maintain complex data models that support business operations and analytics, ensuring seamless integration with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Key responsibilities include managing metadata and data catalogue tools to ensure discoverability and lineage tracking. Additionally, you will deliver scalable and secure data products, apply foundational data transformation techniques using SQL and Python, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in data management and governance across all stages of the data lifecycle, including deep understanding and hands-on experience with complex data modeling techniques. Proficiency in metadata management and data cataloguing tools, demonstrated delivery of data products within cloud ecosystems, strong SQL and Python skills, and excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities are also essential.

A strong customer-centric mindset with a pragmatic approach to value delivery and execution, along with solid business acumen and ability to align data initiatives with strategic objectives, are crucial for success in this role. The ability to contextualize data within various business landscapes to drive insights and innovation, knowledge and experience of commercial aspects of industry, and SAP ERP and MDG experience are highly desirable.
