Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain functions. The successful candidate will have expertise in production planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Planning & Scheduling:
    • Align material availability with the production plan to ensure efficient operations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize demand forecasting and capacity planning.
    • Monitor daily and weekly production plans to meet customer delivery commitments.
  • Procurement & Supplier Coordination:
    • Evaluate and select reliable suppliers to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and packaging materials.
    • Coordinate with vendors to track purchase orders, delivery timelines, and quality compliance.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Optimize inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
    • Monitor stock ageing, non-moving inventory, and initiate timely disposal or consumption plans.
    • Ensure accurate physical stock audits and reconciliation with system records.
  • Warehousing & Logistics:
    • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure on-time deliveries.
    • Manage warehouse operations, space utilization, and storage safety.
    • Ensure proper documentation, dispatch scheduling, and coordination with transporters.
  • Cost & Process Optimization:
    • Identify and implement initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
    • Drive process improvements using lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies.
    • Track and improve key SCM KPIs like inventory turnover, delivery accuracy, and material yield.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Conduct regular training and audits to uphold safety and operational standards.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
    • Define clear roles, responsibilities, and development plans for team members.
    • Foster collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement mindset.
