Project Estimator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Estimator to oversee the costing of large-scale projects. This entails interpreting technical drawings, producing detailed cost estimates, conducting rate analysis, and preparing Bills of Material.

The successful candidate will also monitor pricing for materials and components, collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure project profitability, and document best practices to maintain compliance with tax and company policies.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who can interpret complex information, analyze data, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret architectural drawings and prepare detailed cost estimations
  • Utilize Revit/AutoCAD for planning and estimation
  • Liaise with vendors, analyze costs, and manage procurement inquiries
  • Visit sites to understand challenges and validate costs
  • Track project progress and maintain updated pricing

Skill Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in project costing/estimation (construction preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Revit, AutoCAD
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
  • BE in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or equivalent; MBA preferred
  • Willingness to travel as needed
