Medical Expert Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Expert to collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders, build relationships with leading specialists, and tailor medical activities accordingly.

The successful candidate will contribute to the Medical Affairs Plan, including budget monitoring, by providing strategic input on medical programs, product positioning, and market insights. They will be an active member of the cross-functional value team (CVT) and local action team (LAT).

Responsibilities include developing and implementing pre-launch medical strategies, leading the design and facilitation of educational programs and presentations for internal teams and external stakeholders, focusing on clinical data and the value propositions of new products.

The Medical Expert must ensure all activities are in full compliance with relevant regulatory standards to preserve trust and reputation in the market.

They will also contribute to the development and review of promotional and educational materials for internal and external use, ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor (MD), PhD, or Pharmaceutical/Natural Science degree required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical gastroenterology, or related field required.
  • Deep understanding of clinical gastroenterology, including scientific research, clinical trial design, data interpretation, and strategy formulation required.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one additional language required.
  • Strong critical and strategic thinking skills, with ability to translate scientific advancements into actionable medical affairs strategies and tactics required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with HCPs on a peer-to-peer level required.

Preferred qualifications include experience in designing and leading medical programs, working with cross-functional teams, and executing medical education initiatives.

A collaborative mindset, with ability to build professional working relationships across various departments and geographies is highly valued.
