We are seeking an experienced and versatile Senior Web Development Project Lead to lead a range of exciting and innovative projects across various domains, including WordPress-based websites, DevOps-managed services, Python development, and Node.js applications.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys the challenge of managing multiple types of technical projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and experience managing diverse teams and projects from inception to completion.

You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, meeting both client and internal expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely and successful implementation of projects across WordPress websites, DevOps services, Python applications, and Node.js development.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, system administrators, and DevOps engineers. Ensure that all team members are aligned with project goals and deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams ensuring transparency and setting clear expectations regarding timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Agile Project Management: Oversee projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring projects stay on track and teams are motivated and productive.

Scope and Resource Management: Define project scope, set realistic timelines, and allocate resources accordingly. Continuously assess and adjust resources as required to stay within budget and meet deadlines.

Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. Work with the team to develop solutions and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays or challenges.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standards, including rigorous testing and debugging processes. Support teams in reviewing deliverables to ensure they meet client requirements and quality expectations.

Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, adopting new technologies, and improving processes for future projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5+ years of experience in project management with a focus on web development, DevOps, and software engineering.
  • Experience managing projects across multiple technical domains such as WordPress websites, DevOps services, and Python/Node.js development.
  • Strong understanding of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and website management best practices.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Solid understanding of Python and Node.js, including their ecosystems, frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Express), and related technologies.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
