Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist

As a seasoned cybersecurity professional, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating potential risks to medical devices. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the security and integrity of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess cybersecurity threats to medical devices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy security patches and updates, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
- Analyze and interpret complex data to inform risk-based decision making, aligning with FDA, ISO/IEC 81001-5-1, and NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive post-market surveillance processes, ensuring ongoing monitoring and evaluation of cybersecurity threats.
- Promote regulatory compliance through proactive engagement with relevant authorities and stakeholders.
- Support incident response planning and execution, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles.
- At least six years of experience in general cybersecurity, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex security initiatives.
- Three years of experience in product security, preferably in the medical device industry, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
- Mastery of cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST CSF Implementation Tiers, and ability to apply this knowledge in practical settings.
- Familiarity with global healthcare data privacy and security regulations, including FDA, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Proven ability to lead and manage high-priority projects, with a focus on deliverables and timelines.
- A strong customer-centric approach, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
