Compressor Package Design Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Compressor Package Design Engineer to join our team.

  • Responsible for designing and developing single shaft compressor packages in accordance with contract specifications, internal and international standards.
  • Creation of technical concepts and special solutions pertaining to package integration and layout.
  • Project budgeting and scheduling, including the creation of bills of materials for pipe and component ordering.
  • 3D CAD modeling of entire compressor trains and the generation of layout drawings, general arrangements, piping plans, foundation plans, cable routing plans, and other related documents.
  • 3D pipe modeling and the generation of fabrication isometrics. Planning, modeling, and extracting drawings of pipe supports in Siemens-NX.
  • Assembly modeling of 3D components like base frames, coupling guards, steel structures, and platforms, and the generation of drawings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 15+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software, specifically Siemens - NX (modelling, drafting, mechanical routing).
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter (Globus) and SAP (Atlas) systems.
  • Understanding of relevant internal and international standards, including B31.3 and ASME.
  • Experience working with rotating equipment and auxiliary systems, such as compressors, turbines, heat exchangers, lube oil units, and gas seal panels.
  • Strong analytical skills and effective communication and cross-cultural abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-oriented mindset.
