Job Overview:

The DevSecOps Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our department by executing, supporting, and continuously improving quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for application interfaces and operations.
    • Maintain high-quality standards through Sonar Cloud quality gates and monitor code quality metrics.
    • Track defects from QA findings, ensuring prompt resolution.
    • Conduct thorough release readiness reviews and validate quality criteria prior to deployment.
    • Prepare and maintain audit artifacts for compliance and internal/external reviews.
  • Vulnerability & Security:
    • Perform vulnerability scanning and reporting using tools like Sonar Cloud and Visual Studio.
    • Support audit readiness and escalate unresolved blockers.
  • Collaboration & Support:
    • Participate in weekly QA reviews and collaborate with teams.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for QA-related issues.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Maintain and update system documentation and QA procedures.
    • Prepare weekly status reports detailing progress, testing tasks, and artifact collection.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless operation and integration of QA processes within DevSecOps.
  • Support release and deployment coordination for enhancements and integrations.
  • Provide training and support to team members on QA tools and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.

Core Competencies:

  • Proven experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.
  • Knowledge of static code analysis and vulnerability scanning (e.g., Sonar Cloud).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in QA or related positions, preferably within DevSecOps environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required (proven experience can substitute for degree requirement).
  • Desirable experience with Sonar Cloud, Visual Studio, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Desirable knowledge of vulnerability scanning and compliance requirements.
