Job Title: Supply Chain Solutions Developer

Job Summary:

This role involves developing and implementing solutions related to a customer's supply chain, providing recommendations to support customers' strategic decisions, and utilizing various proprietary and third-party applications to perform analysis for developing transportation, distribution, logistics, inventory, and supply chain solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans based on customer feedback and assign tasks to resources to ensure projects are completed on time and according to specifications.
  • Review documents to create work orders outlining solutions to be developed/deployed, associated tasks to be performed, and deliverables to be provided.
  • Forward project documents to stakeholders to obtain agreement on costs and resources.
  • Identify and work with all affected groups and functions to manage project impact.
  • Research and evaluate industry trends and best practices.
  • Provide support by developing training materials for related groups.
  • Report on project status, field resource activity, and training initiatives.
  • Design, code, test, and implement customized solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain systems documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and provide resolution for system-related problems.
  • Work with the Solution and Technology team for system development, implementation, and system trouble-shooting.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the SolDI manager.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or Logistics/Supply Chain.
  • Analytical, self-initiated, and able to work independently without micromanagement.
  • Must be a resourceful team player with good inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Previous knowledge of Freight/Integrated Carriers industry will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience in database development and analysis preferred.
  • Consulting experience in the Supply Chain industry preferred.
  • Fluent English skills mandatory; XXX language support beneficial.
