Job Title

A highly skilled Lead Azure Data Engineer is required to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Azure and Databricks.

This senior technical role demands extreme hands-on experience, technical strength in Azure and Databricks, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions quickly and precisely.

  • We need you to work hand-in-hand with Databricks Asset Bundles (DABs) for CI/CD and environment management.
  • You will be responsible for building and managing scalable ELT/ETL workflows with Databricks, Delta Lake, ADF, and other Azure services.

The ideal candidate must be a hands-on problem solver who ensures efficiency in their own work while helping the wider team become more productive and technically stronger.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop robust data pipelines on Azure and Databricks.
  • Implement efficient ETL/ELT workflows using Databricks, Delta Lake, ADF, and other Azure services.
  • Mentor team members to improve overall team productivity and technical capability.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years in Data Engineering with at least 5 years hands-on in Azure & Databricks.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Services (ADF, Azure Synapse), Databricks, Python, SQL, Spark.
  • Knowledge of modern data architectures, such as Lakehouse governance.
