Security and Compliance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to drive our compliance programs, manage external certifications, support customer assurance processes, and ensure organization-wide security governance.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will lead SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits, coordinate with external auditors and regulators, maintain compliance documentation, and review data protection agreements. They will also develop and enforce information security policies, drive company-wide security awareness training, and monitor adherence to internal controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Audit & Certification Management: Lead SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits. Coordinate with external auditors and regulators. Maintain compliance documentation and evidence.
  • Customer & Regulatory Compliance: Respond to customer security questionnaires and due diligence requests. Review and support Data Protection Agreements (DPAs).
  • Governance & Policy Management: Develop, update, and enforce information security policies. Drive company-wide security awareness training. Monitor adherence to internal controls.
  • Risk & Fraud Management: Conduct risk assessments across business units and products. Identify and mitigate fraud risks in our Payments product. Apply AI/ML-driven techniques for fraud detection and anomaly identification.
  • AI & Automation in GRC: Evaluate and implement AI-based tools for compliance monitoring and document reviews. Leverage AI to automate repetitive compliance tasks.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Operations teams. Provide regular compliance and risk reporting to leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or related field. Professional qualifications like CPA, CISA, CISM, or CRISC are highly valued.
  • 5-7 years of experience in information security, risk, compliance, or audit roles. Strong experience with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 is required.
  • Excellent communication skills to handle customer and auditor interactions. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
