Electrical Design Specialist Job Description

 

  • Project Planning: Develop project plans from conceptual design to completion, meeting customer requirements for DC SMPS based Power Systems and Electrical Panels.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical and engineering support to customers.
  • Safety Standards: Stay updated on safety standards for panel designing, including IEC 60204-1 and IEC 61439-1-2.
  • Design Documents: Prepare detailed electrical design documents, including BOMs, GA Drawings, and Electrical drawings.
  • Quality Engineering: Ensure accurate engineering documentation and implement practices to maintain quality standards.
  • Process Improvements: Plan and execute projects for process improvements and new products according to Quality Management System requirements.
  • Customer Interface: Communicate with customers to understand their requirements.
  • Prototyping and Validation: Validate and characterize prototypes to ensure they meet specifications.

 

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Design Experience: More than 10 years of experience in electrical/power system and UPS industries.
  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics.
  • Skills: DC SMPS based Power Systems, electro-mechanical designing of Electrical Panels/UPS Panels, AutoCAD, Electrical Switchgear/Cables & Bus-Bar sizing/Mechanical designing/Wire Harness/Product Quality & Safety norms/Testing of Panels, Mechanical & Electrical codes & Standards, Project Management Skills.
