Pega Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pega developer with 5+ years of experience in PRPC Pega freelancing development to design and develop scalable, maintainable solutions for our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other team members to understand business requirements and translate them into PEGA-based solutions.
  • Design and develop PEGA applications using PEGA PRPC, Pega RULES Process Commander platform.
  • Customize and configure PEGA applications to meet specific business needs.
  • Implement PEGA best practices and design patterns to ensure quality.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Perform unit testing and debugging of PEGA applications.
  • Collaborate with other developers and technical teams to integrate PEGA applications with other systems and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong experience in software development with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in PEGA PRPC development.
  • Proficiency in PEGA PRPC tools, including PEGA Designer Studio, PEGA Express, PEGA Case Designer, PEGA Data Designer, and PEGA App Studio.
  • Solid understanding of PEGA application architecture, frameworks, and design principles.
  • Experience in designing and implementing PEGA solutions using PEGA PRPC version 7.x or higher.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced working in a global delivery model and should be flexible to have some overlap with US hours.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
