Overview:

As a Music Content Strategist, you will lead the development of our music programming strategy, aligning it with business goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop editorial calendars for playlists, campaigns, seasons, and creator trends.
  • Ensure genre/mood/topic coverage aligns with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform curation decisions.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in music programming, editorial curation, or content strategy at a music-tech company, DSP, media platform, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of music genres, moods, and social media use cases.
  • Proven ability to lead curation initiatives across multiple genres and formats.
  • Comfortable working with data to make content decisions.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, marketing, A&R, and content operations teams.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • A strong global music sensibility with the ability to spot trends across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
